Test System Release Notes

General

The OpenMotics Test System for GEN3 hardware has firmware running on the PCB of the CAN Control that acts as Test Controller. Below, you can find the different release of this firmware.

Added functionality

• Full support of "sr" (serial read) and "sw" (serial write) of RS485 slave modules:
  • Input Module (Fw Version 6.0.27 or higher is needed)
  • 0/1-10V Module (Fw Version 6.0.21 or higher is needed)
  • Output Module (Fw Version 6.0.20 or higher is needed)
  • Can Control Module (Fw Version 6.0.47 or higher is needed)
  • Temperature Module (Fw Version 6.0.18 or higher is needed)
• Full support of "sr" (serial read) and "sw" (serial write) of Brain and Brain+:
  • Brain(+) Module (Fw Version 1.0.128 or higher is needed)

  • This instruction reads the serial number only without doing any other tests

  • This instruction writes the serial number only without doing any other tests
  • In this version, this instruction is only supported for the Brain and Brain+
