CAN Control module front panel LED functionality

The Leds on the Front panel of the CAN control have following Layout:

8 LEDs:

  • Power Led: Green led
    • Solid Green: The module has power and the processor is running correctly
    • Off: No power or incorrect firmware
  • Status Led: Orange led
    • Solid orange: When the module is in discovery mode (the status leds of all the other modules will be solid orange as well)
    • Off: Normal working condition
  • RS232 Tx Led: Green led
    • Short On: Debug information is sent to the RS232 port
    • Off: No information is sent
  • Rs232 Rx Led: Green led
    • Off: No RS232 functionality is implemented
  • CAN BUS Tx led: Green led
    • Short On: Information is sent to the CAN Micro modules and CAN Niko Switches
    • Off: No information is sent at that point in time
  • CAN BUS Rx led: Green led
    • Short On: Information is received from one of the CAN Micro modules or CAN Niko switches
    • Off: No information is received at that point in time
  • CAN Pwr: Green led
    • Solid green: Power is applied on the CAN connector
    • Off: No Power on the CAN Connector and thus the CAN modules will have no power
  • CAN STAT: Green led
    • Solid Green: CAN bus is working correctly and the CAN control had bidirectional communication with one of the CAN modules during the last minute
    • Blinking Green: Non initialized input/sensor/output modules are available in the CAN control but not yet added to the Master. Please perform the init process (via the portal or via maintenance mode by using instruction "module discover start" and press the init button of the CAN control)
    • Off: No bidirectional communication with one of the CAN modules during the last minute

Note: During the startup process of the processor, the 6 leds (RS232, CAN BUS and CAN) will go on for 200 ms as a test of their functionality.
